Yay! Finally got me laptop back!
Y'see, I killed my modem Friday night ^^;;; It was raining, there was thunder, lightning.... and a flash...
and the modem died.
I sent my Clevo to the servicing place the next day with my sis and then we stopped by the bakery on the way to buy breakfast and then to the stationery store to buy some mags: Kreko, Aneka & H2. Also stopped by another bakery coz I didn't get to find something sweet in the first one.

So without my modem I was stuck with tv, dvds & books. I finally started on Dan Brown's Angels & Demons and started to look for the FMA anime that my bro bought that I haven't finished watching.
Oh, and I finally get to make myself watch Little Otik, this Chzeck movie about a tree stump baby. Very dark but funny at the same time. Kinda like Pet Shop of Horrors (not the anime, the movie with that meat-eating-plant that talks like James Brown), only more artistic.

I also watched The 400 Blows, this French b&w film. Sometimes when I feel in the mood to watch artsy film I'll watch 'em. Even when I'm bored senseless with the story, something about how the movie presents itself makes to want to stick around to see the ending.
With the aforementioned story, I was surprised I managed to stick that long considering that the family atmosphere feels cliche (mother cheating, dad clueless, wayward kid).

So I got my laptop back yesterday so last night I spent the evening surfing the net and d/l-ing scanlations (Elricest!). There was rain, but no lightning that night.

Since its supposed to be a no-internet surfing night tonight, I may continue watching where I left of at FMA. Although I stopped months ago at where the Elrics first met Sloth, I still needed to watch from the beginning to get the feel of the story again.

Ugh, got work.
